Trinidad Getting Ready For Haiti, And Jamaica For Trinidaoians

Haitian 'revolution or not (and visitors from Haiti have only this week assured us that there is no likelihood of a revolt) both Trinidad and Jamaica are continuing preparation for the coming football tour of the former to Haiti and here.

This afternoon, fourth session of training under the auspices of the Jamaica Football Association, and with Coach Arthur MacKenzie at the helm, will be held at Camp. Another good turn out of the invitees are expected to be present. Nineteen turned out last Monday.

The Trinidadians have already selected their team of 17, but they will continue match practice involving the selectees and other leading players who just failed to catch the selectors' eyes.

Summing up the team, 'Sir Oracle,' (Trinidad Guardian's sport commentator), said: "I must say, however, that they (the Selectors) deserve credit for so nicely flavouring the team with ripe experience and youth. Full marks for finding room for Horace Lovelace, Robert Hamel-Smith and Bernard Garcia."
