TRINIDAD FOOTBALL SELECTORS were booked to meet yesterday in Port-of-Spain to pick the team to tour Haiti and Jamaica, arriving here late next month; and this afternoon our players will start training at Up Park Camp for the occasion.

The following players are asked to report to Chairman-Selector Paul Chevannes and Coach Arthur MacKenzie at No. 1 Camp ground at 4.30 p.m. today:

K. Williams, Watt (YMCA), R. Cooper, deMessa, Huntley DaCosta, George Prescod, K. Hamilton, L. Black, Bunny McLean, Franz Alexander, A. Largie, Noel Hall, Clovis McLean, Alvin McLean, V. Coy, Claude McMorris, Cann, Mason, Miret, Miller, Lester Alcock, Walters and Cecil Alexander.

Joey Gonsalves. No. 1 goalkeeper on the team to Jamaica in 1947, is almost certain of captaining Trinidad's term, and many old favourites like Merritt (reserved 'keeper), Syl Dopson (back), Ian Seale, Noel Winn (halves), Leo Lynch, Rex Burnett, W. Baird (forwards) and of course our old friend Malcolm McClean are likely to be back with us.

The team leaves Trinidad on April 15 and leaves Haiti for here on April 30. Five matches will be played in Haiti.
