Triple-Header at Stadium

THE TRINIDAD schoolboys football champions St. Benedict's go after their second trophy this afternoon at the National Stadium when they take on Santos Division 1 team for the DuCasse Trophy at 4.30 in the final match of their tour.

This will be the last match of a triple header which starts off at 3.00 p.m. with a YDA (Youth Development Agency) team playing against National coach Jorge Penna's Under-19 XI in a 40-minute game, then at 3.45 Santos women's ''A" vs Santos Women's "B".

St. Benedict's yet to show the real standard of football expected of them, may do so today against the fast Santos team, which includes Les Brown on the defence along with Michael Levy, and Lloyd McLean and Bim Hardie on the link positions. Their forward line, led by skipper Patrick Chin is a strong one as in David Largie and Alan Cole they have two players who shoot when given the opportunity.

Leading the Trinidadians fight will be the three National represantatives, skipper Laurence Rondon, who was the hero of his team's nil-all draw with Vere Technical on Thursday enabling his team to win the Antillean Trophy on a 4-1 goal aggregate.

The other two National caps are outside right Dick Furlonge and centre forward Wilfred Cave who has scored all his team's goal in their three games to date.
