Trinidad soccer tour

A KSAFA football touring party of 17 under-20 players, and two officials leave the island this morning at 11.45 for Trinidad where they will play a four-match series against the Trinidad College Football League from December 11-18.

The tour is being sponsored by Barclays Bank D.C. and O (Trinidad) who have agreed to undertake all touring expenses except out-of-the-pocket expenses which are being provided
by Desnoes & Geddes Ltd.

This tour is a reciprocal visit of a series which started last year when a Trinidad team played here for the Jamaica Mutual Life Trophy which is again being played for.

The players who leave today are: Leslie Lucas, Ronald Henry, Franklin Morant, Lloyd McLean, Delroy Scott, Winston Earle, Freddie Sutherland, H. Hammond, Neville Oxford, Alan Cole, Hector Pinnock, Allie McNab, Peter Crooks, David Sanguinetti, Mickey Vernon, Arthur Williams and Francis Delgado.

The officials who leave today are George Prescod (manager/coach) and Keith Noad (co-manager).

They will be joined in Trinidad by Bunny McLean, President of the KSAFA who is head of the delegation.

The schedule of matches for the tour is Dec. 11, vs. College Football League; Dec. 13, vs
College Football League Champions; Dec. 15, vs College Football League; Dec. 18, vs. College Football League.
