CHICAGO (AP) -- The Chicago Spurs and the New York Generals played to a 0-0 tie yesterday in a National Professional Soccer League game.

The best shot of the game came in first half when the Spurs' defender, Walter Kazubski, hit the crossbar from 35 yards but none of his team-mates was able to rebound the shot.

Spur goalie Klaus Grilitz made four fine defensive plays on shots by New York wingers Warren Archibald and Leroy DeLeon.
