Port of Spain, October 6: Trinidad Government has wiped off the 5000 W.I. dollars (£1,041. 13/4) loan and approved a supplementary vote of 5,000 W.I. dollars in connection with the English Football Association's visit to the West Indies next year.

The action follows the 20,000 W.I. dollars (£4,166. 13/4d.) loss the Trinidad Football Association's team incurred during its tour of England last year.

The Government made the grants to aid the Association's forthcoming tour on condition that "no individual person would receive any financial benefits as a result of the proposed visit."

Trinidad Football Association, in informing the Government of their loss, stated that they were in no position to repay the 5,000 dollar loan.
