'Puss' Achong Made Hostel Warden

Ellis 'Puss' Achong, well known Trinidad cricketer and footballer, now in England has recently taken over duties of Warden in charge of the West Indian War Workers' Hostel at Liverpool, a broadcast from London disclosed last night.

Recent West Indian visitors to the B.B.C., the broadcast added, included two Trinidadians now in London. They were Mr. Frank Hamilton, a medical student, and son of Mr. A. J. Hamilton, City Magistrate, and Mrs. Hamilton, and Private Doreen Marcano, daughter of Dr. G. R. Marcano, City M.O.H.
