Shamrock battling for a place in the T.A.F.A.'s "first five" will come up against the league-leading Sporting Club on the Association ground.

Shamrock have scored six points in six matches.

Mr. Eric Almandoz will referee the match, while Mr. H.R. Murray and Mr. J. Yates will be linesmen.

Melbourne will make their debut in S.A.F.A. soccer when they oppose Coast Battery in an intermediate fixture at Skinner Park this afternoon.

Lanes will oppose C.Y.O. in a friendly game of football at St. Benedict's College ground this afternoon. The match starts at 4.45 o'clock and the players are requested to be on time.

A football match between the Red House Department team and the Postal Department will be played this afternoon on Q.R.C. grounds. Play starts at 5 o'clock and members of the staff are invited to attend.
