The Baltimore Bays Soccer Club is proud to announce the first players to sign their 1973 contracts: Keith Aqui of Howard University, and second-year veterans Hank Kazmierski and Rick Arthur.

The signing of Aqui will come as quite a surprise to many in the soccer community because he was the first-round draft choice of the Dallas Tornado of the North American Soccer League.

A teacher in his native country of Trinidad, he came to the United States on a holiday and decided to stay and further his education. After graduating Phi Beta Kappa from Howard University, he now has plans of entering law school in the fall.

An ambitious man, Keith would like to become a professional soccer player as well as a lawyer. After watching him play surely you will agree that he has achieved a professional status, and, if his scholastic record is any indication, his desire to become a lawyer will also soon be realized.

Married and living in the Washington area, 27-year-old Keith is employed part-time by a local law firm.

Living the hectic schedule he does affords him little leisure time, but as Keith says, "Soccer is my hobby, my recreation, and a big part of my professional ambitions."
