A Message from today's official sponsor
Dragon Stout is proud to be the sponsor of this symbolic match today, in tribute to the late Laurie Cunningham. This is the first time The Caribbean All Stars have come to the U.K. and it is indeed a great honour for Dragon to be associated in making this possible. We feel sure Leyton Orient and The Caribbean All Stars will entertain us all with an exciting match.
We thank Leyton Orient for their support, Tony James for his commitment to ensure we are exposed to the very best football the Caribbean has to offer, and Al Hamilton for his never ending enthusiasm and drive. All to help the Laurie Cunningham Remembrance Trust who are working to ensure other boys and girls can follow in Laurie's footsteps in pursuing their dreams.
With best wishes

A Letter from CONCACAF R.A. (Tony) James
Since the advent of the Shell Caribbean Cup in 1989, the Caribbean's International Football has shown steady improvement. Five years on, our young professionals are now scattered throughout the Globe in the USA, Costa Rica, England, Portugal and as far away as Israel.
John Barnes epitomises the successful transition, through exposure, of the talent available from the region. As players like Dwight Yorke follow in his footsteps and attempt to become household names, the CFU is delighted that this "Window of opportunity" has been opened, to facilitate their progress and put Caribbean Football Talent on display in England.
The fine facilities at Leyton Orient inspires us as to the infrastructure necessary to transform the game from Amateur to Professional football in the Caribbean, as is the CFU's commitment.
A tour of this magnitude does NOT become a reality without committed, visionary sponsors. Dragon's commitment to Caribbean sports in London, in particular football, is well known. The CFU wishes to thank Dragon Stout and Marlin House Trading Company Ltd. for making this Historic day possible. We express our sincere gratitude to promoter Al Hamilton and all who have contributed to this effort and hope that this symbolic tribute to Laurie Cunningham will start a trend for future international exposure for our young Caribbean players.
