Veteran footballers plan

According to secretary Archibald Thompson, all veterans who have played or participated in football in an official capacity under the then TAFA (Trinidad Amateur Football Association) and current TTFF are eligible for membership. First meeting is scheduled for San Fernando/Princes Town on Saturday from 3 pm.

Thompson (A) is urging the vets to make every effort to attend the meetings to acquaint themselves with the aims and objectives of the VFFTT.

Other meetings are scheduled for Arima/Sangre Grande/Toco; San Juan/Tacarigua; Couva/Chaguanas; Port-of-Spain and Environs; Tobago; Point Fortin/Siparia/Palo Seco. The VFFTT is led by an interim committee headed by president Gwenwyn Cust, and includes Tansley Thompson, Gerry Browne, Son Baptiste, Frank de Freitas, Royce “Packy” Moore and Thompson (A) with offices at 143 Belmont Circular Road, Belmont.
