Grand Football TournamentGrand Football Tournament

All arrangements for the coming Football tournament have now been completed. The members of the visiting team which have been chosen from the Georgetown Football Club arrived yesterday per s.s. "Oruro". With the kind permission granted by the Queen's Park Cricket Club all the matches will be played at the St. Clair Oval. In all, 6 matches will be played and the first of these has been arranged for Monday 7th February. The following is a complete list of the series:—

Monday 7th February—Demerara vs Clydesdale Club.
Wednesday 9th February—Demerara vs Casuals F.C.
Thursday 10th February—Demerara vs Shamrock F.C.
Saturday 12th February—Demerara vs All Trinidad.
Monday 14th February—Demerara vs All Trinidad.
Tuesday 15th February—Demerara vs Clydesdale Club.

As will be seen from an advertisement in another column the Clydesdale Club, whose guests the visitors are for the trip, have issued strips of six tickets for admission to the stands at the Oval, for 60c. and these can be obtained from the Hon. Secretary Mr. Archie Johntson, c/o Boyd & Co., Broadway, and from Mr. D. T. Fraser at Davidson & Todd, Mr. J. J. Pendrich, at Trinidad Shipping & Trading Co. and Mr. J. H. Hoadley, "The Don", Marine Square. Admission can also be obtained to the stands for 12c, and to the grounds for 6c.
