PLANTERS v. MASCOT

This match was played at Paradise Pasture on Friday in the presence of a large gathering. Rev. Hendy refereed and Messrs. Z[illegible] and Patrick did the lining. Mascot scored a goal in the first half of play and did nothing during the second. On the other hand Planters did nothing in the first half, but scored three goals during the second. The game was quite a lively one, but miskicking, especially in the case of Mascot, ruled the day. Planters' combination was far better than that of Mascot. Planters 3, Mascot 1.

THE GOPAUL CUP.

NAPARIMA COLLEGE v LA PIQUE.

Naparima College against La Pique on Monday afternoon.

Goal—E. Bonas.
Backs—H. Inniss (Capt.) and H. Halliday.
Half Backs—J. Ammon, D. Grant and Rev. J. Cumming.
Forwards—C. Gopaul, T. Ammon, Rev. C. T. Baillie, J. Sammy and A. Moore.

If the College win this match the victory will place them beyond the possibility of losing the Cup. If La Pique win the remaining matches of the Competition will be extremely interesting. La Pique will be represented by the same team that played against Planters with the exception of Mulloon who is indisposed.
