THEY TIE AGAIN.

The football match mentioned above came off at Paradise Pasture on Thursday afternoon in the presence of quite a record number of spectators of both sexes, and it resulted in a no-goal draw. The game was remarkable from the number of free kicks and penalty kicks which referee Melhuish awarded against the La Pique players and from the singular fewness o the same accorded against Brighton. If all these fouls were correctly conceded then the La Pique men are the most awful football players, in which case the Brighton men would be shining lights in the arena of this game. At any rate, most of the spectators seemed convinced from the bitter remarks they made concerning referee Melhuish during play that the facts were the other way about in regard to the respective sides.
