(From a Correspondent.)

Yesterday the St. Joseph Recreation Ground was the scene of a pretty match between the St. Joseph Rangers F.C. and Mr. Guy's XI, which resulted in an easy win for the home team to the tune of 4 goals to nil. One the whole there was clean football, the wings passing brilliantly and Grant at centre forward lost no opportunities in scoring the above mentioned goals. Duprey at centre half was a tower of strength to his side having fed his forwards nicely. The defence on the whole was unbeatable Hart and Orosco clearing in brilliant style. The home team's goalkeeper having practically nothing to do.

For the losers Jack Cummings and Pereira were the stars.
