NAPARIMA COLLEGE v. BOY SCOUTS

This match of the Gopaul Cup Competition was played on the Paradise ground before a number of spectators for whom chairs and benches were provided. It came off on Friday and Mr. H. Douglin refereed. The contesting sides seemed evenly matched, so much so that the first half of play proved uneventful, strive hard although each strove to gain the mastery. The issue was however, decided almost at the close of play, leaving Scouts beaten by the only goal scored that evening. The College 1, Boy Scouts 0.

UPHELD.

At the meeting of the S.A.F.A. council held on Friday evening, the protest of the Boy Scouts against the Referee's decision re goal scored by Scout in their match against Planters was upheld. Therefore each side scored a goal and the game is in consequence a draw.

POSTPONED.

La Pique Cup Competition will not begin on the 21st instant as stated, it having been postponed to November.
