WASHINGTON (AP) — The Washington Darts played Bangu of Brazil to a 2-2 tie Sunday in a North American Soccer League international game.

The tie kept the Darts' hopes for a post-season playoff position alive as they now trail second-place Dallas by four points in the Southern Division. Each team has three regular-season games remaining.

Tibor Szalay scored early for Washington but Edson Bonfim tied it for Bangu in the 22nd minute.
Warren Archibald headed in a 10-yarder 12 minutes later to give Washington a 2-1 halftime margin. Amauri Da Silva rolled in a hard shot in the 53rd minute to give Bangu the tie.

International games count in league standings for NASL teams.
