WASHINGTON (UPI) — The Washing Darts soccer club Sunday won its second straight American Soccer League championship, turning back the Syracuse Scorpions, 2-0.

The Darts scored after five minutes of play on a 20 yard boot by Gerry Browne that careened off the head of a Syracuse defender and into the net.

The Dart's second tally came in the 86th minute on a kick by Nana with an assist by John Kerr. A record crowd of 3,976 watched the title match.
