Local secondary schoolboy soccer champion Vere Technical High School is scheduled to fly out from the Palisadoes International Airport at 11:20 this morning for Trinidad on a six-match tour of that island.

On this, their second overseas tour — the first was in 1965 to the Bahamas — the daCosta Cup champions since 1965, and Olivier Shield holders since last year, will be guests of Fatima College. On their schedule are two 90-minute engagements with Trinidad's under-21 team and one against a combined Colleges XI. Other games—also of 90-minute duration—will be with high school teams.

Due to return on January 8, the team will be headed by the school's headmaster, Mr. Ben Francis, with John Topscot as manager and then coach, Derek Tomkinson. Some 15 players will be going.
