A tied cricket match has meant that the annual inter-campus sports of the University of the West Indies between Mona and St. Augustine have ended in a draw.

Mona won the table tennis competition on Saturday but lost the lawn tennis. Both the football and cricket competition ended in draws.

The first of the two football matches, on Friday, saw St. Augustine winning 3-2. Yesterday in the second match — the final event of the sport — Mona were victorious 1-0.

The two-day cricket match which ended on Tuesday saw both sides hitting 190 all out.

Twenty-one of the 39 St. Augustine team members return to Trinidad today.

Keith Gardner, director of sports at Mona, said the inter-campus competitions were developing in spirit and building up into one of the most important of the university's extra-curriculum activities.
