
PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti, June 12 (Reuter).—JAMAICA and Netherlands Antilles fought out a goalless draw in the first match of the new Inter-Caribbean Soccer Tournament for the Francois Duvalier cup here yesterday.
In another match played yesterday, Trinidad beat Surinam by three goals to two. The score was 2-2 at halftime.
Surinam took the lead after 15 minutes through Sahadewsing and increased their score through Haltman. Trinidad hit back and scored three goals — two by Gerry Brown and one by Pat Joseph.
After fighting to a goalless first half, Haiti beat Guadeloupe by three goals to zero.
A crowd of 5,000 watched the matches.
