THE Harvard Football Club of Trinidad are expected to arrive in the island on July 3 for a series of games against local teams. They will be guests of the Cavaliers Football Club.

Eighteen footballers are expected but in a letter to Cavaliers President, Leighton Duncan, the Harvard secretary said that they hope to be able to increase the touring party to 32 or 35 so that they will be able to play other games like cricket, basketball and table tennis.

They will be in Jamaica for two weeks — until July 18, and on their way home will stop at Antigua and Barbados to play cricket and football there.

The President of the Cavaliers Club said yesterday that most of the eight football matches which the team will play here will be in the country parishes.

The Trinidadian soccer team includes players like Jeff Gellineau and Clem Clarke who were members of the Trinidad World Cup team and Gary Dove and Dwight Day who have already represented Trinidad against Brazil and Surinam.

Also in the party will be the Trinidad cricketer Kenny Roberts.
