CoC soccer Leovictor beat Maple

PORT OF SPAIN, Sept. 29, (Reuter):

LEOVICTOR FROM Surinam, shocked Trinidad soccer fans yesterday afternoon when they beat Maple, leaders in the current league series here, 4-0 on a hard ground.

The visitors outplayed the home team in a game which was a bit rough.

Leovictor lost key wing half Wong Swie Sang some minutes before the final whistle with a knee injury which might keep him out of action for about six months.

Goal scorers yesterday were J. Stork (two) and E. Griffith and R. Marcet.

Both Leovictor and Maple are due to fly to Surinam tonight for the return ficture in the Champion of Champions tournament.
