PORT OF SPAIN, April 29:

IN AN effort to keep Trinidad's imposing record in sports against Jamaica intact, the Trinidad Football Association selected the strongest team on current form to meet Jamaica at Queen's Park Oval Sunday in the first "Test." Nine members of the team toured Jamaica last year.

Following is the lineup: Cax Baptiste, goal; Willie Rodriquez, Bertram Hills; Frank Gamaldo, Noel Hamelsmith, captain; Son Baptiste, Carlton Franco, Noel Daniel, Doyle Griffith, Ron Gray, Horace Lovelace.

The only men who did not play Jamaica last year are two southerners from the oilfields. Bertram Hills, back, and Ron Gray, inside left.

Altogether three "Tests" will be played as follows: second, May 11; third, May 13.

In between the visitors engage north-east Trinidad on May 6, south Trinidad on May 8.

Footballers will have a last chance of saving Jamaica's face.

Trinidad's team boast a terrific defence, but as yet their forwards show little shooting skill, though Hamel-Smith, Lovelace and Son Baptiste are capable men with Hamel-Smith likely to test any keeper.
