BRIDGETOWN, Feb. 28:

THE Council of the Barbados Amateur Football Association stood for two minutes in silence during its meeting as a mark of sympathy in the death of players of the Manchester United football team.

A letter of sympathy sent earlier was also read.

The Council discussed a letter from the Trinidad Football Association in respect to a goodwill tour between May 1 and 16.

It was decided to reply regretting the inability of the B.A.F.A. to accept the invitation of T.A.F.A. as it is awaiting information from the British Caribbean Football Association in regard to a series of matches for the Standard Life Trophy which was agreed to at the inaugural meeting held in Jamaica.
