IMPORTS....
Many, many schools throughout this country import Pennsylvanians, Ohioans and Texans to perform upon far-away gridirons but no one has trumped Penn State University.
Three foreign-born students represent what unquestionably is one of the major reasons for Penn State's continued success on the soccer field in 1956.
The three are the captain, Athens-born Steve Flamporis, of Reading; Norwegian-born Per Torgenson, who divides his time between Altoona and Long Island, and 19-year-old Mike Stollmeyer, who was born and raised in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad.
