English FA XI trounce Bermuda 14-1

HAMILTON, Bermuda, May 15 (Reuter):—

THE English FA team, which is to tour the Caribbean, beat a Bermuda FA side 14-1 yesterday. Two days earlier they beat Bermuda 11-1.

Jezzard, Fulham's centreforward who scored 4 in that match, yesterday had a hat-trick as did Pearson (Bury) and Heckman (Bromley).

Hill (Fulham) two, Groves (Leyton Orient) 2, and Nutt (Cardiff City) were the other scorers.

Emery (Lincoln City) put through his own goal before the interval when the tourists led 6-1.

Three Englishmen were on the Bermuda side. They were right half Fred Phillips, who comes
from Penzance, centre half Bill Freeman of Manchester and, Dave Kirwin, leftwing from London.
