F.A. Amateur XI v. Trinidad Touring Teammatch programme

NINE INTERNATIONALS are included in the Football Association Amateur XI, to play Trinidad at Wimbledon on Saturday, October 10. Included in the nine is Franz Alexander, a Cambridge University student who has played for England three times so far in International soccer.

The team can be taken to represent England's top amateur strength. For the English selectors have already picked two losing sides this season and they want to taste victory.

At centre forward, Jim Lewis of Chelsea, has been replaced by D. S. Taylor. Taylor is one of the only two uncapped players in the team. The other is left-back, A. R. Childs. The third change from the side which met the South Africans is at outside right, where Roy Stroud comes in for Tony Pawson.

The team is as follows: E. Bennett; F. C. Alexander, A. R. Childs; L. Topp, D. Adams, D. S. Taylor, D. Cutbush; R. Stroud, J. A. Walton, W. J. Slater, M. Speciar.
