Trinidad get 11 places on Carib team

TRINIDAD gained 11 selections on the Caribbean Football Association team to tour Surinam next month, according to the secretary and sole selector, Mr. Eric R. James, appearing on the front page of Tuesday's Trinidad Guardian.

Joey Gonsalves, captain of Trinidad, will lead the team of 17 to be managed by Mr. James.

British Guiana gained two, Jamaica three and Puerto Rico one selection on the team.

The team will play five matches, three of them Tests. Matches will be of 90 minutes duration.

The team is:—

TRINIDAD—Joey Gonsalves, (capt.), P. Gomez, A. Joseph, C. Brathwaite, G. Parsons, M. Nunes, S. Seymour, R. Hamel-Smith, C. Lewis, D. Griffith, C. Hinds.

BRITISH GUIANA—M. de Sours, L. Weithers.

JAMAICA—D. H. Smith, V. C. Bayliss, M. Williams.

PUERTO RICO— F. Seijo.

Players will leave from their respective islands on Thursday, December 4. The tour opens on December 7.
