TRINIDAD soon may have the opportunity of witnessing an English international football team in action on the greens in Port of Spain.
Recently the T.F.A. Council authorised Mr. W. Vincent-Brown and Mr. Eric James, manager and secretary respectively of the T.F.A. touring team, to negotiate for the visit of a team here in 1954, or the year after.
Mr. James said in a Press conference yesterday that Jamaica, British Guiana and Barbados will be invited to subscribe to this potential tour.
But whether they decide to collaborate in such a movement or not, Mr. James assured the Trinidad Football Association proposes to conduct the tour alone, should negotiations prove successful.
