Caribbean soccer fixtures

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti, May 18 (Reuter):

SEVEN countries will take part here in the new Inter-Caribbean soccer tournament for the Francois Duvulier cup next month.

The competition was launched at a meeting here in January and the trophy is named after the life president of the Haiti Football Association.

The competing countries have been placed in two groups. Jamaica, Trinidad, the Netherlands Antilles and French Guiana form group "A" and Haiti, Surinam and Guadeloupe make up group "B".

Teams in each group play off and the group winners meet in the final on June 22.

FIXTURES: June 10: Jamaica vs Trinidad and Netherlands Antilles vs French Guiana.

June 11: Haiti vs Surinam.

June 14: Jamaica vs Netherlands Antilles and French Guiana vs Trinidad.

June 15: Haiti vs Guadeloupe.

June 17: Netherlands Antilles vs Trinidad.

June 18: Jamaica vs French Guiana and Guadeloupe vs Surinam.

June 22: Final.
