Trinidad and Tobago dropped it's international encounter to Honduras 3-2. Once again it was the same story. Poor defence and Stern John to the rescue. The game most likely will T&T's international last game of the year.

Trinidad and Tobago finish with a impressive record this year with eight wins, one tie and one lost. Wins over World Cup qualifiers, Jamaica, Colombia and South Africa were the main highlights of T&T's run this year.

Next year is going to be a very busy season for T&T. They will open up versus Canada (see below) and tours to the Middle East and South America. Throw in the Gold Cup and T&T has a full plate of games before the first half of the year. At the Under 23 level, T&T will host Group C action in the second round of Olympic qualifying in March. They will be joined by the United States. T&T clubs are not standing still either. In December English clubs including Newcastle United, Watford, Tottenham Hotspur, Peterborough and Rotterham United. The visitors will play matches against top Trinidad and Tobago clubs and the national side.

Stern scores in debut

Shhh!!!! That is what Stern John must have said to his critics. Stern John made a strong debut and good first impression when he scored for Nottngham Forrest in his first game for his new club. Just like last year when Dwight Yorke moved to Manchester United, John was on the receiving end of Newspaper critics who said that John was unproven in Europe to justify such a high transfer price.
