JAMAICA have a glorious chance of winning the Shell Caribbean Football Cup here this month. But the real challenge for local football, as far as new Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) technical director, Winston Chung-Fah, is concerned, is reaching the World Cup Finals in 1998.

"Jamaica have a good chance of winning (the Shell Cup)," said Chung Fah as we talked inside his makeshift office at the JFF complex at the National Arena, recently.

"Trinidad is our main threat but, after the World Cup qualifying game and when we assessed their Olympic players, there is a limited amount of talent there. For example Latapy and Lewis are currently playing in Portugal and people like Williams have gotten too old."
