Trinidad Football Team May Visit Jamaica Dec.

TRINIDAD—A Trinidad football team may visit Jamaica during December this year, according to a statement made to a "Sunday Guardian" representative recently by Lieutenant-Commander Charles Hayward, president of T.A.F.A., who has just returned from England.

Commander Hayward, who stopped in at Jamaica on his way down, attended a council meeting of the Jamaica Football Association, and assurances in connection with the tour ware given him by the officials there.

Speaking of his stay in England Commander Hayward said he had many conferences with Mr. Stanley Rous, secretary of the English Football Association, in connection with the proposed educational football tour by an English team to Trinidad and possibly Jamaica in 1947, and the employment of a resident coach to the T.A.F.A. — "Trinidad Guardian."
