Recently the Sporting Club one of the leading League Clubs in Trinidad and champions of the colony in 1937, walked off the field in a T.A.F.A. League match.

The result was that at a meeting of the Emergency Committee of the T.A.F.A., the points were taken away from the Sporting Club, who in the match in question refused to continue the game when their captain was sent off the field.

This decision was arrived at despite the apology for the conduct of the players, which was accepted, by the Committee of the Sporting Club.
