TRINIDAD WINS AGAIN

Trinidad continues to hold her own on the football field of the West Indies and Demerara. As is already known a combination including some nine players who toured Jamaica last season, visited Surinam to take part in the celebrations in connection with the wedding of the Dutch Princess, Juliana.

Three matches were arranged with the full strength of Surinam beside one geam with a British Guiana team, which also visited the country to take part in the celebrations. Trinidad came out with an unbeaten record. They drew the three games with the home side 1-1, 3-3 and 2-2, and beat the B.G. team 3-0.

A Cup was offered for the tournament, and the Surinam Association presented Trinidad for their excellent performance and as a token of goodwill. On their way home they passed through British Guiana and defeated a colony side [illegible].
