THE INAUGURATION ceremony to mark the formation of the British Caribbean Football Association, was held at King's House last night under the chairmanship of Mr. Ken Galt, BCFA president.
The Governor, Sir Hugh Foot, welcomed the audience and congratulated the representatives from Jamaica, Trinidad, Barbados, Grenada, British Guiana and St. Vincent on their achievement in setting up a West Indies soccer authority.
Speeches were also made by one delegate from each member country of the BCFA, by the Hon. Franklyn Baron, observer from Dominica, and by the Hon. Noel Nethersole, Minister of Finance.
The Jamaica Military Band was in attendance.
