Trinidad and Tobago Triumphs: Henry Jamerson scored 11 minutes into the second half yesterday as Trinidad and Tobago beat Guatemala, 1-0, in Guatemala City and moved past the United States into second place in its World Cup qualifying group. Trinidad and Tobago (2-1-3) has 7 points with two games remaining in the double round-robin qualifying. The United States (2-1-1) has 5 points with four games remaining. Costa Rica (5-2-1) completed play in the North and Central American and Caribbean region with 11 points and is virtually assured of one of the two spots the region gets in the 1990 World Cup.(AP)
