Three Rowdies were among the 15 players chosen by league coaches for the June 29 ASL All-Star Game at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C.

Goalkeeper Winston DuBose and defender Steve Trittschuh were named started and midfielder Steve Wegerle was named substitute. Wegerle and DuBose are the only players in the league to make the team two years in a row.

The all-star squad, coached by Maryland's Lincoln Phillips, will play the defending league champion Washington Diplomats. The Dips had three players named to the all-star team, but they will remain on their own squad. Phillips will name three substitute players.

Washington and Tampa Bay were the only clubs with as many as three players on the all-star team.
