ZURICH, Switzerland (AP)—
At least 69 nations have entered the 1970 World Soccer Cup Tournament which winds up with the final round in Mexico City May 31-June 21, the International Soccer Federation said Saturday.
Formal entries from Cuba and South Korea, two countries who had expressed interest have not yet been received but are expected.
Thirteen countries from North and Central America have entered. They are Bermuda, Canada, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Netherlands Antilles, El Salvador, Surinam, Trinidad and the United States.
