US put out Jamaica 2-1

TORONTO, Aug. 25 (Reuter):

Canada and the United States clinched their group titles with wins last night in the Confederation of North-Central America and Caribbean Soccer Association (CONCACAF) tournament.

Canada clinched the Group 1 title with a 2-1 win over Nicaragua, while the U.S. downed Jamaica 2-1 to win Group 3.

In yesterday's other games Trinidad whipped Puerto Rico 6-0 and Guatemala defeated Cuba 2-1. Trinidad's victory gave it the top spot in Group 2.

Canada plays the second placed team in Group 3, Cuba, tomorrow night in London, Ontario to decide who advances to the semi-final round.
