PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad, Feb. 19 (AP):

Trinidad's chances of taking honours in the World Olympic soccer competition are likely to be severely hampered by the exodus of star players from the country over the week-end.

Five members of the national team, who represented Trinidad in the Pan American Games at Winnipeg last year, including Gerry Brown and goalkeeper Lincoln Phillips, have signed as professionals for clubs in the United States.

The others are Victor Gamaldo, link-man, Clive Niles, inside left, and Kelvin Berassa, centre forward. All were members of the team which played in Jamaica last month in the champion of champions series.
