PORT-AU-PRINCE, June 19 (AP):

Surinam defeated Jamaica 5-3 yesterday in the tournament for the Francois Duvalier Cup here. This match was scheduled for last Thursday but it was postponed by rain.

Antilles won over Guadeloupe 4-0 and Haiti over Trinidad 1-0 in the other two games played yesterday.

The Jamaican team gave a wonderful exhibition during the first 15 minutes with two goals scored by Cameron at 6 minutes and Miller at 14 minutes.

But Surinam came back with a vigorous attack and scored at 25 minutes.

Jamaica was leading 2-1 at half-time.

Jamaica played on the defensive during the second half. Surinam took advantage then and Haltman scored at 7 minutes with a penalty.

Reumel netted the ball at 20 minutes and Haltman got the fifth goal four minutes later. Miller scored the third goal for Jamaica at 30 minutes.
