For the first time this year, the men's soccer team will be playing the underdog role at home. Penn State (9-3-1) will be taking on top ranking Long Island (12-0-0) at 7:15 tonight at Jeffrey Field.

Last year, the Blackbirds shutout the Lions 3-0 on three second half goals.

"That was a strange game," Penn state Soccer Coach Walter Bahr said. "After we had our best scoring chances, they would come down and score. All three times that happened. The second goal Long Island scored was after we missed our only penalty kick of the year."

This year, Long Island is without their super star of last year—Richard Chinapoo, who now plays for the New York Cosmos of the NASL. To take his place, Blackbird Coach Arnold Ramirez Jr., who has led Long Island to a 54-9-5 record the last three years, recruited Albert Nah.

The freshman Nah has made Long Island fans forget about Chinapoo by responding with 12 goals and four assists to lead the Blackbirds in scoring. Besides Nah, there are a lot of other players to watch.
