SAN FERNANDO v. PORT-OF-SPAIN

A football match will be played to-day on the Association ground between a team from San Fernando and a picked first class team from the City clubs.

San Fernando is sending up a very strong eleven and followers of football are assured of seeing a good game. As this is not a competition match reserves will be allowed to play in the event of a player being injured. Port of Spain will play I. Hart; E. Lewis, K. Aleong; V. Richardson (Capt.), H. Farrell, C. Stollmeyer; H. Daniel, H. Achong, F. Farrell, K. Gibson, E. Achong. Reserves: H. Waterman, Brown, (St. Mary's), Neives, M. Achong.

Referee: Mr. B. Warner.

The reserves are asked to turn up prepared to play.

The following will represent the San Fernando Amateur Football Association:—E. Marache; L. Procope and L. Christian; M. Grainger, H. Jack, [illegible] Reserve: T. D. Samuel.

LEAGUE FOOTBALL

SHAMROCK v. CASUALS

The numbered reserved seats for the Shamrock—Casuals match on Saturday are being rapidly taken up and it is advisable for those who have not bought, to do so at once. Tickets can be had at Messrs. Davison & Todd at 1s each.

TODAY'S 2ND LEAGUE MATCH

Owing to the first class match to-day, the Casual—Woodlands match will be played on the Casuals ground and not on the Association second ground. Players and officials are asked to note this.

NORTH v. SOUTH MATCH

Seats may be booked for this match which takes place on Saturday, the 9th October. The Southern [illegible] have booked a whole block in advance and — City folk should have their seats booked early.
