BRIGHTON v. HOLBORN—TWO GOALS TO ONE
Brighton have sustained their supremacy by defeating Holborn in the above competition. Speculation was rife as to the result and when Brighton lined up without Warner and Lloyd it was a foregone conclusion that Holborn could not lose. This prophecy was correct in a measure for although Brighton scored the greater number of goals, Holborn sustained their reputation for passing and had the monopoly of play in the second half. The goals were scored by Solomon (Holborn), and Cummings and McKenzie (Brighton).
Pointe-a-Pierre will meet to-day.
