An interesting match was played at Paradise on Friday afternoon between La Pique and Mascot Football Clubs, when the former were victorious by two goals to one. Early in the first half Gaskin drew blood for the winners with a hot grounder, and soon after Gill handled the ball in the area, and Mascot were awarded a penalty. Mahabir took the kick, and landed the ball safely in the net. At the resumption of play was fast and even, and three minutes before the close Wilson put the issue beyond doubt by beating the Mascot custodian with a beauty from short range. Mr. R. Lewis acted as Referee.

Circulars have been issued calling a meeting of the Southern Amateur Football Association on Friday next at the Church House at 8 p.m.
