ST. PETERSBURG -- Northeast Youth Soccer Club head coach Earl Henry has been named head coach of the St. Petersburg Catholic boys soccer team, SPC athletic director Al McRoberts said Monday.

Henry, a former Trinidadian national soccer team member, replaces Tom Neary, the Barons' coach and AD in 1988-89.

Neary resigned in June to reenter the Pinellas County public school system, McRoberts said.

Henry, 48, becomes SPC's fifth new coach in the past two academic years. Since the fall of 1988, SPC has replaced its head coaches in football, basketball, baseball and track.
