Suspensions lifted

PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad, March 29 (AP):

Trinidad's national football disciplinary committee has lifted "indefinite suspensions" against 11 players it was learned today.

All of the athletes were suspended on alleged misconduct during a football series held in Costa Rica last year.

A committee spokesman said that nine of the players will not be available for a series against Haiti's national team scheduled for July in Port of Spain.

Two other players, Leroy de Leon and Everard Cummings, currently are in the United States playing professional soccer for the Washington Darts of the American Football League.

The players who will meet the Haitian team include: Keith Douglas, Gerald Figureoux, Gerald Romano, Max Mascall, Mervyn Springer, Gwenwyn Cust, Ulric Haynes, Wilfred Cave and Kenny Joseph.
