Trinidad Football Tour—

Whilst the Selection Committee of the Jamaica Football Association are still playing Trial Matches with the view to selecting the best Jamaica Team to meet Trinidad in the first Test Match, at least, next month the selectors of the Interscholastic Sports Committee have already decided on the Combined Schools Team that will play in the opening match of the tour.

Scheduled to arrive here on Thursday, February 6, Trinidad will play All Schools following Saturday, February 8. This will be followed by a match against the Senior League or Senior Knockout champions on Monday, February 10; and the first Test Match the following Wednesday, February 12. In this way the visitors will complete their programme of nine matches playing every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

TRIAL MATCH

On Monday the J.F.S. Selection Committee will stage another trial match at Sabina Park between "A" and "B" Teams, and for which the following sides have been selected:

"A" TEAM:—A. T. McLean; A. U. Dujon, V. Delgado, H. Walters, K. McKen, W. Ricketts; D. Smith, L. Alcock, J. K. Holt, Jnr., G. Allen, S. Hollingshead.

"B" TEAM:—A. S. Dujon; A. Henny; E. A. Hendriks, A. Bayliss, R. Prince, O. Hunt; V. Coy, C. Alexander, C. McMorris, A. E. McKenzie, N. Hall.

I personally would have liked to see the opportunity taken of trying Alcock at outside-left.

SCHOOL TEAM

The All Schools Team to play in the opening match of the tour will be: K. N. Williams (Jamaica College); E. Hedman (St. George's); V. R. Hutchinson (Munro); J. K. Gentles, (J.C.); K. Hamilton (J.C.); K. Largie (St.G.C.); E. D. Rodgers (J.C.); H. Miller (J.C.); F. Alexander (Wolmers); R. Berry (J.C.); C. D. Morin (J.C.).

Members of the team are asked to turn out for coaching and practice at Jamaica College on February 5 and 6 at 4.00 o'clock each afternoon.
